Medjedovic loses to Humbert in Queens round of 16

LONDON - Serbian tennis player Hamad Medjedovic has failed to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Queens ATP tournament after a 2-6, 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-5) round-of-16 defeat to Frenchman Ugo Humbert.

The match began on Thursday but was suspended due to nightfall at 1-1 in sets and resumed on Friday.

Humbert will face Australian Rinky Hijikata in the quarter-finals.

The prize money at the London tournament is 2,583,330 euros.
