Djere through to Kitzbuhel semis

KITZBUHEL - Serbian tennis player Laslo Djere is through to the semi-finals of the Kitzbuhel ATP tournament after defeating Argentine Pedro Cachin 6-4, 6-2 on Thursday.

Djere, who won after 80 minutes of play, is placed 38th in the ATP rankings, while Cachin ranks 54th.

In the semi-finals, Djere will face the winner of the tie between Austrian Dominic Thiem and Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech.

The prize money in Kitzbuhel is 562,815 euros.
