Serbian long jumper Vuleta wins Diamond League

EUGENE - Serbia's Ivana Vuleta won the long jump event at the Diamond League in Eugene, US, after producing a 6.85 m leap in her last attempt in the final on Sunday.

Vuleta was tied in the first place with Nigerian Ese Brume but won due to a better second-best attempt (6.77 m compared to 6.69 m by Brume).

American Quanesha Burks took the third place with a 6.77 m jump.

The win in the Diamond League final is another highlight of the season for Vuleta, who became world champion in Budapest just three weeks ago.
