Stojkovic, Mitrovic and Damnjanovic take Serbian Golden Ball awards

STARA PAZOVA - The head coach of the Serbia men's national football team Dragan "Pixie" Stojkovic is the winner of the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) Best Serbian Coach Golden Ball Award for 2022, the FSS Executive Board decided at a session on Tuesday, held at Stara Pazova, near Belgrade.

Stojkovic took the award for the second time in a row and for the third time overall in his coaching career.

In a statement, the FSS said the 2022 Best Male Footballer Golden Ball Award went to Aleksandar Mitrovic after "an excellent year at club and international level" while Jovana Damnjanovic won the Best Female Footballer award after leaving a "notable mark also as a Bayern Munich player."
