Djokovic beats Norrie to secure Davis Cup semi-final slot for Serbia

MALAGA - Novak Djokovic beat Briton Cameron Norrie 6-4, 6-4 on Thursday evening to secure a semi-final slot for Serbia at the Davis Cup Finals in Malaga.

Djokovic won after a hundred minutes of play.

Earlier in the afternoon, Miomir Kecmanovic defeated Jack Draper to give Serbia a 1-0 lead in the tie.

Italy are the other semi-finalist after defeating the Netherlands 2-1 on Thursday.

The semi-final ties are Australia vs Finland and Serbia vs Italy.
