Djokovic advances to Roland Garros third round

PARIS - Serbia's Novak Djokovic, the world number one in men's tennis singles, is through to the Roland Garros third round after a 6-4, 6-1, 6-2 victory over world number 63 Roberto Carballes Baena of Spain in the second round on Thursday.

Reigning champion Djokovic, who won after two hours and six minutes of play, will next face the winner of the tie between Frenchman Gael Monfils and Italian Lorenzo Musetti.

Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic is out of the tournament after retiring from his second-round match against Daniil Medvedev in the second set due to injury.
