Lajovic loses to Fritz in Roland Garros second round

PARIS - Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic lost 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 to American Taylor Fritz in the second round of Roland Garros on Thursday evening.

Fritz won after two hours and 20 minutes of play.

Previously, Serbia's Olga Danilovic qualified for the third round of the women's tournament by beating would number 10 Danielle Collins of the United States 6-7 (3-7), 7-5, 6-4.

Danilovic, who is 125th in the WTA rankings, won after two hours and 35 minutes of play.

She will next face Croatian Dona Vekic, who defeated Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk in the second round.
