Danilovic through to Roland Garros fourth round

PARIS - Serbian tennis player Olga Danilovic is through to the fourth round at Roland Garros after coming from behind to defeat world number 40 Dona Vekic of Croatia 0-6, 7-5, 7-6 (10-8) in the third round on Friday afternoon.

This is the highest career achievement for Danilovic and her first-ever qualification for the fourth round of any Grand Slam tournament.

The Serbian, who is 125th in the WTA rankings, won after three hours and 11 minutes of play including a super tie-break in the third set.

She will next face the winner of the tie between Czech Marketa Vondorusova and Frenchwoman Cloe Paquet.
