PARIS - Serbia's Novak Djokovic, the world number one in men's tennis singles, is through to the Roland Garros fourth round after coming from behind to beat Italian Lorenzo Musetti 7-5, 6-7 (6-8), 2-6, 6-3, 6-0 in a night-time thriller.
Djokovic, who won after four and a half hours of play, is now 5-1 head-to-head against Musetti.
The match began shortly after 10.30 pm local time on Saturday and finished after 3 am on Sunday, becoming the latest-finishing match in Roland Garros history.
Djokovic will next face Argentine Francisco Cerundolo, who beat American Tommy Paul 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 6-2 on Saturday.
Serbian Olga Danilovic has failed to qualify for the fourth round of the women's tournament following a 6-4, 6-2 defeat to Czech Marketa Vondrusova after an hour and 20 minutes of play.
