Begovic meets with France's Baptiste

PARIS - Serbian Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begovic met with French Minister of Higher Education, Science and Research Philippe Baptiste in Paris on Monday to discuss advancement of bilateral cooperation in science, innovation and technological development.

During the meeting, Begovic presented to Baptiste an official invitation to the Belgrade Scientific and Technical Fair, which will bring together top experts, institutions and companies from all around the world, the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation said in a statement.

"That event will be an exceptional opportunity to exchange knowledge, forge ties between researchers and promote new scientific achievements," said Begovic, who is on an official visit to France.

The statement also said Serbia and France continued to boost their partnership in science through joint projects and initiatives contributing to global technological progress.
