BELGRADE - Serbia's external goods trade in January-March totalled around 17.587 bln euros, which is a 7.7 pct increase y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office.
Goods exports were worth around 7.346 bln euros, up by 1.8 pct y-o-y, while imports totalled around 10.241 bln euros, growing by 12.4 pct y-o-y.
The deficit was 2.895 bln euros, up by 52.8 pct y-o-y.
The export-import ratio was 71.7 pct, down from 79.2 pct in the same period of last year.
External goods trade was the highest with countries with which Serbia has free trade agreements, and EU member states accounted for 57.1 pct of the total.
Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Italy and Romania were Serbia's main export partners, with China, Germany, Hungary, Italy and Turkey as its main import partners.
