More than 270,000 tourists visit Serbia in July

BELGRADE - A total of 273,713 foreign tourists visited Serbia in July, which was a 1.2 pct increase y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office RZS.

The foreign visitors generated 649,587 overnight stays - 1.2 pct fewer y-o-y.

Turkish tourists led the pack with 46,277 visits and were followed by visitors from China (19,829) and Germany (18,927).

Visits from four more countries were also in five figures: Russia (16,505), Romania (13,411), Bosnia and Herzegovina (10,901) and Poland (10,497).

The majority of foreign tourists visited Belgrade (148,081), Mt Zlatibor (18,408) and Novi Sad (15,808).
