BELGRADE - Air Serbia achieved its best-ever monthly results in August 2025.
"It was not only the most successful month of this year but also a historic record in terms of the number of passengers carried and flights operated. During August, a total of 561,773 passengers were carried on the national airline’s flights, approximately 3,000 more passengers than in the same month last year.
For the first eight months, the number of passengers reached 3,110,985, an increase of four percent compared to the same period in 2024. Growth was also recorded in the number of flights. In the period from January to August, 32,908 flights were operated, five percent more than in the same period last year," it said in a statement.
"Behind us is a historic month. The results achieved confirm that Air Serbia continues to grow and expand its operations. I am proud of all our employees who, day by day, put in maximum effort to ensure our passengers reach their destinations quickly and easily. Thanks to all passengers for their trust, which motivates us to be even better,” said Air Serbia CEO Jiri Marek.
In August, the most popular destinations in the region included Tivat, Podgorica and Ljubljana, while, in Western Europe, the majority of passengers flew to Zurich, Paris, Barcelona and Frankfurt.
"In the wider Euro-Mediterranean area, the most popular flights were to Larnaca, Istanbul, and Athens, while in long-haul traffic, the highest demand was for flights to New York," Air Serbia said.
