BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament passed a 2023 budget bill on Friday.
A hundred and fifty-six of 223 MPs in attendance voted in favour of the bill and 58 voted against.
Under the bill, budget revenues will total 1,843.4 bln dinars, up by 133.8 bln or by 7.8 pct compared to the 2022 supplementary budget, with expenditures to total 2,107.4 bln dinars.
The debt-to-GDP ratio is envisioned to decline to 56.1 pct by the end of 2023.
The bill also projects the Serbian economy to see 2.5 pct growth next year.
The new budget rests upon three pillars - improvement of living standards, infrastructure and energy.
