BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali will on Thursday begin a working visit to Washington, where he will attend the IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings, held on April 13-18.
The conference has brought together central bank governors, ministers of finance and development and representatives of the private sector, the civil society and the academic community, who will discuss global issues.
While in Washington, Mali will meet with IMF Deputy Managing Director Bo Li, Director of the IMF's European Department Alfred Kammer and the World Bank's Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Antonella Bassani, the Ministry of Finance has announced in a statement.
Mali will also meet with Moody's, Standard and Poor's and Fitch Ratings representatives, as well as with several investors, to whom he will present the potential for further investments in Serbia.
The minister will also attend a Constituency meeting, the statement said.
