BELGRADE - Serbia and Republika Srpska will this month set up a coordination team for cooperation in science and technology to jointly coordinate all activities in the fields of scientific and technological development.
An agreement on this was made at a meeting between Serbian Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Bela Balint and Republika Srpska Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education Draga Mastilovic in Belgrade on Thursday.
Balint said the coordination team would be cooperating on projects and categorisation of periodicals, as well as on joint academic classes.
Mastilovic said the team would be set up as early as next week and convened later this month.
"We want to utilise the experiences of development of science and technology parks in Serbia, which are really on a European level and leading the way in that sense, while Republika Srpska is still in a phase of forming its own science and technology park, and the experiences we will get from Serbia will be valuable," Mastilovic said.
