Serbia registers 1.7 pct more tourist visits y-o-y in June 2026

BELGRADE - Serbia registered 400,000 tourist visits In June 2026, which is a 1.7 pct increase y-o-y, the national statistical office RZS said on Friday.

The visitors generated 1,142,000 overnight stays, or 2 pct more relative to the same month of last year.

Serbian tourists accounted for 601,000 of the total overnight stays, which is a 0.9 pct increase y-o-y, while foreign tourists generated 541,000 overnight stays, which is a 3.3 pct increase y-o-y.

Belgrade, Novi Sad and Subotica accounted for the majority of overnight stays generated in cities, Vrnjacka Banja, Sokobanja and Banja Vrdnik led the way when it comes to spas, while Mt Zlatibor, Mt Kopaonik and Mt Tara were the top attractions among mountain resorts.

Russian and Turkish tourists generated the most overnight stays in June, the RZS said.
