Serbia signs MoU with Amazon Web Services

KRAGUJEVAC - Serbian Minister of Information and Telecommunications Mihailo Jovanovic and Amazon Web Services General Manager for Europe Cameron Brooks signed a MoU at the Kragujevac State Data Centre on Thursday.

Cooperation with Amazon Web Services will advance innovation and economic development in Serbia through an initiative aimed at helping to train professionals for leading-edge cloud technologies.

Serbian PM Ana Brnabic, who attended the signing ceremony, said this was another big day for digitalisation in Serbia and the country's ICT sector, as well as for digitalisation of all eGovernment public services.

"Cooperation with companies like Amazon means we will be much better prepared for things that are being offered to people around the world in terms of innovation. That is our objective," she said.
