Serbian May average net monthly wage at 86,220 dinars

BELGRADE - The Serbian average net monthly wage in May was 86,220 dinars, according to figures released by the national statistical office RZS.

The average gross wage was 118,992 dinars.

Average gross and net wages in January-May were up by 15.5 pct y-o-y in nominal terms and down by 0.1 pct y-o-y in real terms.

Year-on-year, May average gross and net wages were up by 16.2 pct in nominal terms and up by 1.2 pct in real terms, the RZS said.

The median net wage in May was 66,244 dinars, meaning that 50 pct of the employed population received wages up to that amount.
