Serbian October average net wage at 75,353 dinars

BELGRADE - The Serbian average net monthly wage in October was 75,353 dinars - up by 14.1 pct y-o-y in nominal terms and down by 0.8 pct y-o-y in real terms, according to figures released by the national statistical office RZS.

The average gross wage was 104,039 dinars and was up by 14.2 pct y-o-y in nominal terms and down by 0.7 pct y-o-y in real terms.

The median net wage in October was 57,810 dinars, meaning that 50 pct of the employed population received wages up to that amount.

Year-on-year, gross wages in January-October 2022 were up by 14 pct in nominal terms and by 2.4 pct in real terms, the RZS said.

At the same time, net wages in the ten-month period were up by 13.9 pct in nominal terms and by 2.3 pct in real terms.
