Djedovic Handanovic:Serbia-Bulgaria gas pipeline to be completed in mid-November

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic said on Thursday the construction of a Serbia-Bulgaria gas interconnector would be completed in mid-November.

"Through that gas pipeline, Serbia will have access to different sources of gas for the first time. We will be able to use gas from Azerbaijan and Greece. We expect physical construction to be completed in mid-November," Djedovic Handanovic said at the Southeast Europe Gas Forum, hosted by the Energija Balkana internet portal under the patronage of the Ministry of Mining and Energy.

"We are in talks with the Azerbaijani side and we are working on signing a commercial contract between Srbijagas and the Azerbaijani supplier by the end of November," she said.
