Cvetkovic meets with New York State representative

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Economy Slobodan Cvetkovic met with Empire State Development Vice President of Industry Development Steve Gold in New York on Monday to discuss mutual promotion of direct investment, boosting SME growth and the significance of female entrepreneurship and green energy in contemporary business.

"It is extremely important to maintain continued communication in business to establish long-term investment plans and projects that will enable stable economic growth and development of Serbia as well as the US," a statement released by the Ministry of Economy on Tuesday quoted Cvetkovic as saying.

The parties called on Serbian and US businesses alike to seize opportunities for investing and expanding overseas, it also said.
