Air Serbia inducted into Air Transport World Hall of Fame

BELGRADE - Air Serbia was inducted into the Air Transport World (ATW) Airline Industry Hall of Fame on Friday, May 31, at the ATW’s 50th Annual Airline Industry Achievements Awards ceremony in Dubai, UAE, the Serbian flagship carrier announced on its LinkedIn profile.

"Celebrating its half-century milestone, besides Air Serbia, ATW inducted five other airlines, including Emirates, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Air Canada and Korean Air. The award was received by Air Serbia’s CEO Jiri Marek, who represented the airline at the ceremony," the company said.

Established in 1974 to recognise excellence in the air transport industry, the ATW Airline Industry Achievement Awards are the most coveted honor an airline or individual can receive, it noted.
