Vucic: Serbia ready to help flood-hit states in central Europe

BELGRADE- Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday Serbia was ready to provide all the necessary assistance to the victims of the floods that have hit central Europe.

"On occasion of the tragic consequences of the flooding that has hit Czechia, Poland, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary, I extend the deepest condolences to the families of those killed and solidarity with all those who are going through these difficult times. Serbia is ready to provide all the necessary assistance and support," Vucic wrote in a post on his X account.

At least seven people have been killed in the floods that followed heavy rainfall brought to central and eastern Europe by the cyclone Boris.
