BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic said on Friday Serbia was not giving up on the political fight for its autonomous province of Kosovo-Metohija and that there would be no pogroms or expulsions of Serbs, but that the Serbian university in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica could be Pristina's next target.
"Their next goal could be to abolish the University of Pristina, which was relocated to Kosovska Mitrovica. They believe the university essentially generates additional strength for the Serbs to survive. It could be the next target of attacks by Kurti and his regime," Vucevic told Vecernje novosti.
He said Pristina would not desist and would go all the way to closing everything, including kindergartens.
He said he believed the upcoming February elections in Kosovo-Metohija had an impact on the situation.
"Kurti has nothing to offer to his voters for the elections except solving the issue of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija," Vucevic added.
