Brnabic meets with Morocco's Errachid

RABAT - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met on Wednesday in Rabat with Mohamed Ould Errachid, speaker of the Moroccan House of Councillors, the upper house of the country's parliament.

Brnabic said Serbia and Morocco were connected by a traditional and sincere friendship dating back from the founding days of the Non-Aligned Movement.

"Therefore, Serbia's commitment to further advancement of the relations with Morocco, based on mutual understanding and respect between our peoples, was confirmed today, too. A parliamentary friendship group with Morocco has been established in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, which is another indicator of our commitment to strengthening of overall relations," Brnabic said.

Brnabic, who is on her first-ever working visit to Morocco, has also met with House of Representatives Speaker Rashid Talibi Al-Alami and FM Nasser Bourita.
