Opposition MPs absent during parliamentary votes on several bills

BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament passed several bills on Wednesday, including a 2025 budget bill.

The voting on a 68-item agenda began at around 10.30 am and finished after slightly over four hours due to a large number of tabled amendments.

Amendments to the Penal Code and the laws on energy and games of chance were also passed, with several agreements - including on loans - and memorandums ratified as well.

Opposition MPs were absent during the voting.
