Dacic meets with outgoing OSCE mission head

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic received a farewell visit from the head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia Jan Braathu on Friday, thanking him for his engagement in joint work between the Interior Ministry and the OSCE aimed at maintaining security.

Dacic noted that Serbian police were fully committed to fulfilling all tasks related to protecting all Serbian citizens and maintaining security and rule of law, and highlighted the significance of OSCE support in reform processes and capacity-building at the Interior Ministry.

The parties also highlighted the results of joint efforts in fighting all forms of crime, including, especially, in work on crime prevention, as well as on education for primary school children about safe conduct.
