Vucic thanks Iran for non-recognition of so-called Kosovo

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received Iranian FM Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Monday, thanking Iran for its firm and principled stance of non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo and for its respect of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.

Abdollahian said Iran maintained its consistent position in keeping with international law and the UN Charter, the presidential press office said in a statement.

The parties discussed advancement of bilateral ties and potential economic cooperation.
