Vucevic: Decision on whether there will be new gov't or elections due within two weeks

BELGRADE - Serbian caretaker PM Milos Vucevic said on Wednesday a decision on whether Serbia would get a new government or go to early elections was due within about ten days to two weeks.

In an appearance on K1 TV, Vucevic said he did not see himself as a minister in the next government, and noted that "that would not be good" and that he had not stepped down as PM for the sake of mimicry and simulation.

"I think it is natural that, if we do not go to elections and if the new government essentially stems from the mandate of the present National Assembly, then it is not logical for me to be a minister in another department. That can perhaps be a topic only after some elections (in the future)," Vucevic said.
