BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday evening he had had a phone call with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban and that they had agreed to advance Serbian-Hungarian relations in all spheres of social life, including the military and defence sphere.
"An excellent discussion with a great friend of Serbia, Viktor Orban. We exchanged views on the current political situation in the world, in Europe and, especially, in our countries. We agreed accelerated advancement of our mutual relations in all spheres of social life, including the military and defence sphere," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile.
Vucic said he had backed Orban's efforts to preserve independent decision-making in Hungary and added that he had also thanked the Hungarian PM for his exceptional contribution to building the closest relations between Serbia and Hungary.
"We will be signing important, major things soon," Vucic noted in the post.
