Macut takes over from Vucevic as Serbian PM

BELGRADE - New Serbian PM Djuro Macut took over from his predecessor Milos Vucevic on Thursday.

The takeover of duty in the government building took place shortly before 10 am, after a meeting between Macut and Vucevic.

The new government is scheduled to hold its first session at 1 pm.

The Serbian parliament elected the 31-member cabinet on Wednesday, after which Macut and the government ministers took the oath of office.
