Vucic: I will meet with many foreign officials, including Trump, I believe

POZEGA - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday he would meet with many officials from around the world within two weeks, including US President Donald Trump.

"I believe I will have an opportunity to meet with President Trump as well. I still do not have full confirmation, but I believe it will happen," Vucic told reporters during a visit to the construction site of the Preljina-Pozega section of the Milos Veliki motorway in western Serbia.

He said several EU officials, including Marta Kos and Antonio Costa, would visit Serbia within 15 days and that he would visit Moscow.

"I will speak with all the key people in the world, with the most important people," Vucic noted.

He also said Serbia's economic growth rate had declined due to protests and blockades.

"We now have to revise all our forecasts, we need to see how much lower the salary and pension increases will be," Vucic said.
