Vucic congratulates Dan on winning Romanian presidential elections

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Monday congratulated Nicusor Dan on winning the Romanian presidential elections.

"On my own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Serbia, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Nicusor Dan on his election as president of Romania. In us, you will always have good neighbours and a dependable partner as we remain committed to cooperation, strengthening of friendship and joint projects to the benefit of our citizens," Vucic wrote in a post on X.

Dan, a former mayor of Bucharest, defeated Gheorghe Simion in Sunday's runoff presidential elections, winning 53 pct of votes.
