BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric has condemned Pristina's police raid on a Red Cross facility in Zubin Potok, Kosovo-Metohija.

"In an alarming display of lawlessness, armed members of Mr Kurti’s police raided the facility of the Kosovo-Metohija Red Cross at Lake Gazivode in the Municipality of Zubin Potok today.

This unjustifiable and unacceptably provocative act against essential services for the Serb people in the Province constitutes not only a grave violation of the protected status of a humanitarian institution, but also a serious breach of international norms and conventions," Djuric wrote in a post on X on Tuesday.

"Strongly condemning yet another incident in the growing pattern of targeted pressure and intimidation against Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija, I call on the international community, relevant organisations and our partners to unequivocally denounce this attack on human dignity and humanity itself, and to demand full accountability from those responsible," Djuric posted.

The Serbian mission to the UN Office and other international organisations in Geneva has sent a note to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), demanding an adequate response and a condemnation of the raid.

The Red Cross of Kosovo-Metohija is a part of the ICRC.
