BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received a farewell visit from Moroccan Ambassador to Belgrade Mohammed Amine Belhaj on Monday, thanking him for his excellent cooperation and strong contribution to bolstering bilateral relations during his tenure in Serbia.
In an Instagram post, Vucic noted that Morocco had consistently demonstrated respect for the territorial integrity of Serbia and international law, confirming the deep friendship connecting the two countries.
"We appreciate and we are not forgetting that principled position," Vucic wrote in the post.
He noted that the ambassador had left a strong mark with his work and that his commitment to strengthening political, economic and cultural ties remained permanently valued.
"I wished him much success in his further service and told him he would always be welcome in Serbia, as a sincere friend of our country," Vucic concluded.
