BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received student Milos Pavlovic, who was injured in a physical attack in New Belgrade on Wednesday evening, and noted that the authorities would no longer tolerate violence.
"I have the honour of hosting Milos Pavlovic at the Presidency this morning and speaking with him about last night's horrific events, when the top student of his generation at the Faculty of Medicine, one of the best students at our University, committed the horrendous act of going to a cafe in Student City," Vucic said ironically.
"He committed a grave crime, he was drinking mineral water and Coca Cola, and then a gang of blockaders came and, like in horror movies, surrounded the cafe and started to bang on the glass windows and scratch and scribble on them," he added.
"Those are the very same people who lied about a sound cannon, the same people who lied about purported violence being used against them, moaned and cried every time anyone gave them a stern look, and then they used the most horrible violence, such that they have disgraced Belgrade and Serbia," Vucic said.
