BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric extended condolences to all those who have lost their loved ones in Thursday's tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, India, and the people of India, and noted that Serbia "stands in solidarity and heartfelt support with our Indian friends."
"Deeply saddened to learn of the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. I extend my sincere condolences to all who have lost loved ones, my colleague Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and the people of India," Djuric wrote in a post on X.
"In this time of profound sorrow, Serbia stands in solidarity and heartfelt support with our Indian friends.
Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy, and we wish a swift and full recovery to the injured," Djuric concluded.
At least 133 people were killed when a London-bound Air India plane with 244 passengers on board crashed on takeoff at the Ahmedabad airport in the Indian state of Gujarat.
