Delegation of Serbian MFA attends defence tech conference in Miami

MIAMI - A delegation of the Serbian MFA and UNDP Serbia, headed by the MFA's Secretary General Dusan Kozarev, is in Miami for the eMerge National Security defence tech conference.

The delegation was given a presentation of the latest achievements in applications of modern information technologies such as artificial intelligence in defence and security, as well as in the civilian sector.

On the sidelines of the conference, Kozarev met with Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava.

They confirmed the announced opening of a Serbian consulate-general in Miami and the launch of direct Air Serbia flights between Belgrade and Miami would boost the harnessing of the enormous potential for cooperation between the two cities and with Florida in general.

The schedule of the delegation's visit to Miami also includes meetings with representatives of the diplomatic and business communities of the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago and other communities that are active and present in Florida, the MFA said in a statement.
