Macut, Danish ambassador discuss cooperation, Serbia's EU path

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut met with Danish Ambassador to Belgrade Pernille Dahler Kardel on Friday to discuss geopolitical affairs, economic cooperation and Serbia's EU path.

Macut noted that Denmark was one of Serbia's most important Scandinavian partners and added that there was potential for further strengthening of overall cooperation and political dialogue, a government statement said.

Dahler Kardel said Denmark supported Serbia's EU path and added that bilateral relations between the two countries were on an enviably high level.

Macut said a positive trend in development of bilateral relations had been registered in recent years and that Serbia was committed to further advancement of economic cooperation and trade.

He congratulated Denmark on assuming the Council of the EU presidency and thanked the country for consistently supporting Serbia's EU path,
