Unknown perpetrators place "KLA" flag outside Serbian embassy in Hague

THE HAGUE - A group of unknown perpetrators placed a "Kosovo Liberation Army" flag at the entrance to the Serbian embassy in the Hague on Sunday afternoon, hurling ethnic insults at embassy employees, a source at the Serbian MFA has told Tanjug.

The incident occurred at around 4 pm on Sunday, when the perpetrators stepped out of a car that had parked outside the embassy building and placed the flag at the entrance.

The embassy also said hundreds of other people carrying Albanian and "KLA" flags hurled insults as they walked past the embassy building.

Embassy officials notified the diplomatic police, which said an investigation would be launched into the incident and that police presence in the vicinity of the building would be increased.
