Vucic meets with Stubb

NEW YORK - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Finnish President Alexander Stubb on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly session in New York.

Vucic noted that he was certain the relations between the two countries would continue to develop in the spirit of mutual trust and a shared vision of a stable and prosperous Europe.

"A substantial discussion with President Stubb about Serbia-Finland bilateral relations, characterised by positive trends in development of political dialogue and continued good cooperation, but I am confident that there is still much space to advance our partnership," Vucic posted on Instagram.

He added that Finland was also an important partner on Serbia's EU path, and that its support in reforms and experience-sharing in rule of law, public administration and sustainable development was valuable to Serbia.
