Vucic, Danish ambassador discuss bilateral relations, cooperation

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Danish Ambassador to Belgrade Pernille Dahler Kardel on Tuesday to discuss further strengthening of bilateral and economic relations between the two countries and an upcoming European Political Community summit in Copenhagen.
"A good and cordial meeting with Ambassador Pernille Dahler Kardel at which we discussed key matters of our bilateral and economic relations, as well as ways in which we can advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest," Vucic wrote in an Instagram post.
He thanked Denmark for its consistent support for Serbia on the EU path and noted Serbia's commitment to stepping up further the relations with Denmark.
Vucic added that they had also discussed the upcoming 7th European Political Community summit in Copenhagen, which he noted would open up new possibilities for exchanging views and strengthening mutual trust and understanding.
"I noted that important steps are ahead that we can take together with the aim of strengthening dialogue and better connectivity, as well as preservation of regional stability and progress of entire Europe," Vucic concluded.
