PRISTINA - Pristina's central electoral commission on Friday accredited 28 media organisations to cover Sunday's local elections in Kosovo-Metohija, including the Tanjug News Agency and other Serbian-language media outlets.
In a statement, the commission said the accredited media organisations were Tanjug, the RTS, Prva TV, RTV Vojvodina, RTV Puls, Radio KM, TV Most, Kontakt Kosovska Mitrovica/Kontakt Plus radio, TV Gracanica, Raporto24.com, Radio KiM, GracanicaOnline.info, Alternativna, TV Herc, Vendi Sot, Expose Media, Medija centar Caglavica, Mitropol Media, VideoPlus, Insajder TV, Nova.rs, Mondo/Kurir, Danas, Nina Media Clipping and Hungarian state television MTVA.
The group of accredited Serbian-language media outlets does not include the Kosovo Online news portal.
At a session on Thursday, the commission denied accreditation to all Serbian media outlets, and some media organisations, including Tanjug, filed complaints against the decision.
The decision was condemned by journalist associations, as well as the OSCE Mission in Pristina.
