Vucic receives farewell visit from Bulgarian ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received a farewell visit from Bulgarian Ambassador to Belgrade Petko Doykov on Monday, thanking him for an exceptional contribution to development of bilateral relations during his tenure.

"Serbia and Bulgaria have years-long friendly and goodneighbourly relations, based on mutual trust and a shared vision of regional development," Vucic posted on Instagram.

He added that, during Doykov's tenure, major projects in the areas of transport, energy and culture had been carried out, contributing to economic and societal ties between the two countries.

"I believe the cooperation will strengthen further, and I wish the ambassador much success in his further work and that he remains a sincere friend of Serbia wherever he may be," Vucic concluded.
