Vucic, Mirziyoyev ink joint declaration, 11 agreements signed

TASHKENT - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed on Tuesday in Tashkent a joint declaration, after which Serbian and Uzbek delegations ceremonially signed and exchanged 11 other bilateral documents.

The documents, signed in the presence of Vucic and Mirziyoyev, are an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in education, science and culture, a protocol on cooperation in sport and physical culture, an intergovernmental agreement on mutual promotion and protection of investments, an agreement on economic cooperation, an intergovernmental agreement on provision of health care services, a framework intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in engineering, artificial intelligence and advanced technologies, an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in tourism, a MoU on labour migration, as well as an agreement on cooperation between Belgrade and Tashkent, a protocol on cooperation between the Serbian and Uzbek MFAs in training diplomatic staff and a programme of cooperation between the two ministries for 2026-2027.

Earlier, Serbian and Uzbek delegations met at the Kuksaroy state residence in Tashkent.
