Brnabic meets with French Senate speaker in Paris

PARIS - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic, who is visiting Paris, met with French Senate Speaker Gerard Larcher on Wednesday.

Before the meeting, Larcher welcomed Brnabic outside the Senate building.

Earlier, Brnabic visited the French National Assembly and met with Speaker Yael Braun-Pivet to discuss deepening the cooperation between the two parliaments and strengthening the ties between Serbia and France.

Brnabic also met with members of a Serbia-France friendship group in the French parliament.

As an envoy of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Brnabic will attend the opening of the Paris Peace Forum on Wednesday and address a panel on Thursday.

On the sidelines of the forum, she will also meet with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot.
