Djuric: I believe Srpska will continue to develop, preserve its integrity

BELGRADE - Congratulating the leadership and the people of Republika Srpska on January 9, Republika Srpska Day, Serbian FM Marko Djuric said on Friday he believed Srpska would continue to grow and develop while preserving its integrity within Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"I extend my heartfelt congratulations and wishes for peace to the leadership, the citizens and socio-political organisations on the 34th birthday of Republika Srpska. We wish progress and well-being to Republika Srpska, with the belief that, with concord and honour, we will be building even better and more prosperous days for our people on both sides of the Drina," Djuric wrote in a congratulatory message.

The threads that make up the fabric of the brotherly relations between Serbia and Srpska are firmly woven into the soul of the Serbian nation as they are based on sincere friendship, good-neighbourliness and togetherness in preservation of history, culture, language and national identity, he added.

"I deeply believe that, with every future birthday, Republika Srpska will continue to grow and develop, strengthened by steadfastness, concord and unity, while preserving its integrity as part of Bosnia and Herzegovina and contributing to stability and cooperation to the benefit of the present and future generations. Long live Republika Srpska! Long live the Republic of Serbia! Long live the Serbian nation!" Djuric concluded.
