BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said on Friday a European Parliament (EP) delegation that had paid a two-day visit to Belgrade had demonstrated it had come to support pro-blockade activists from the former government, and noted that the visit was "absolutely a political mission."
"Their message to us was that they were here to support the blockaders. Therefore, this was an absolutely political mission, and they demonstrated that," Brnabic told a press conference in the Serbian parliament building.
"Their meeting with the groups of the ruling coalition, the majority groups in the National Assembly of Serbia, lasted exactly 13 minutes. Thirteen minutes with those who have won the trust of Serbian citizens, and they had not one, but two meetings with blockaders from the former government, and those two meetings lasted 84 minutes in total," Brnabic said, noting that this, too, reflected the MEPs' unobjectivity and partiality.
