Kozarev meets with ambassadors of Latin American states

BELGRADE - Secretary General at the Serbian MFA Dusan Kozarev met with Ambassador Maria Clara de Abreu Rada of Brazil, Ambassador Osvaldo Narciso Marsico of Argentina and Deputy Ambassador Flor De Lis Vasquez of Mexico on Tuesday at a working lunch hosted by the ambassador of Brazil.

The parties noted that they were in agreement on all key issues of joint interest and pointed out a need for respect for international law and the UN Charter, especially regarding Kosovo-Metohija, the MFA said in a statement.

Kozarev thanked the representatives of Latin America's three strongest economies for the consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.

The discussion also addressed possibilities for advancement of trade, as well as identifying concrete ways of increasing it further.

They parties noted a significant untapped potential for cooperation and expressed readiness for more intensive contacts and closer coordination with the Latin American group of nations with a view to advancement of overall bilateral and multilateral relations.
